Job summary

Buckeye Partners Lp is seeking a Technician III in Port Reading, NJ to maintain and repair pipeline and terminal facilities including pump stations, ROWs and delivery terminals.

The role requires a two-year technical associate degree and experience with PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley), plus travel ~25%. You will work within our high-performance team to ensure safe, compliant operation of assets and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education/work experience.
• Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance is required.
• Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and truck/rail load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance projects: troubleshoot and maintain pipeline and terminal facilities, including planning, estimating, scheduling and cost control.
• Compliance: perform and document preventative maintenance inspections per manuals and JDE system.
• Continuous education: stay updated on new technology and equipment.
• Management: procure and manage outside contractors as needed.
• Policy implementation: apply company standards and construction specs for new or upgraded facilities.
• Product training: train operations personnel on new or modified equipment or software.
• Documentation: maintain equipment records and documentation of work performed.
• Perform essential functions safely and in compliance with ADA, FMLA and standards.
• Assist in corrosion and QC issues as needed.
