Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an experienced environmental permitting professional to lead oil and gas midstream and energy transition projects in the Gulf region. You will manage permit applications, coordinate with agencies, and drive regulatory strategy to meet project objectives.

The role requires strong knowledge of FERC processes, NEPA, and 404/10 compliance, along with the ability to build durable client relationships and deliver high-quality environmental documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing pipeline projects and permitting large natural gas or liquids pipelines.
• Proven knowledge of FERC/NEPA requirements and related mitigation.
• Strong client relationship development and proposal support skills.
• Experience coordinating with agencies on 404/10, CZMA and Section 106.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition initiatives throughout the US.
• Lead permit applications and agency coordination for species, 404/10, CZMA, and Section 106 compliance.
• Develop positive client relationships and support business development efforts.
• Prepare and review technical documents supporting regulatory submissions.
• Uphold HSSE policies and coordinate with HSSE professionals across project phases.
• Collaborate with Environmental and Regulatory specialists to ensure consistent execution.
• Support multiple projects across Stantec’s Gulf region and nationwide.
