Job summary

Plains All American is seeking an Integrity Engineer to develop, implement, and improve pipeline integrity, safety, and regulatory compliance programs. The role supports the Integrity Management Plan and serves as a technical liaison across Plains operations in the U.S. and Canada.

You will conduct assessments, perform MAOP/pressure analyses, and validate In-Line Inspection data. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and up-to-date regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; 2–5 years of related experience.
• Interpretation of DOT/PHMSA regulations and standards.
• In-Line Inspection (ILI), dig selection and threat assessment.
• Identification and evaluation of preventive and mitigative measures to manage pipeline risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Supports Integrity Management Plan requirements with guidance from Manager, Integrity Engineering.
• Acts as Integrity point of contact to a Plains Operation Division.
• Provides input on new construction pipelines and due diligence to support Pipeline Integrity efforts.
• Participates in internal and regulatory audits and responds to information requests and corrective actions.
• Collaborates with teams to develop and meet organizational goals.
• Stays current with pipeline regulations and industry standards; gains exposure to industry organizations.
• Provides engineering support for pipeline integrity projects, assists with changes, MAOP calculations, and ILI result analysis.
• Identifies threats and determines preventive and mitigative measures.
