Job summary

Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a Mid-Senior Pipeline and Facilities Design Engineer to support pipeline, pump station, and terminal projects in Englewood, CO, Billings, MT, or Casper, WY.

The role emphasizes design engineering, compliance with industry standards, and collaboration with project teams. Ideal candidates bring FE and PE considerations, strong communication, leadership, and a track record in the midstream oil & gas sector.

Qualifications

• B.S. in ABET-accredited Engineering program; 5–15+ years of relevant experience.
• FE exam passed preferred.
• PE licensure preferred or ability to attain.
• NCEES record preferred or willingness to attain.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for pipeline, pump stations, and terminal projects nationwide.
• Lead design reviews with internal and client teams.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and 30%, 60%, 90%, IFC drawings.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, MAOP and line sizing.
• Coordinate procurement and vendor evaluations.
