Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid to Senior Piping Designer for our Englewood, CO, Casper, WY, and Billings, MT offices. The role focuses on design and drafting for pipeline, pump, compressor, and terminal projects nationwide, supporting a team with a strong Oil & Gas track record.

The ideal candidate has 5–15 years in 3D design/drafting, proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, Plant 3D, CADWorx, Revit, and MS Office; familiarity with BIM 360, ProjectWise, and SharePoint is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD/CAM or equivalent.
• 5–15 years of 3D design/drafting experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, Plant 3D, CADWorx and Revit.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
• Exposure to BIM 360, ProjectWise and SharePoint a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide design/drafting support for pipeline, pump station, compressor, and terminal/tank projects.
• Develop mechanical drawings: site plans, piping plans, isometrics, orthographics, and detailing.
• Create piping component files for stress analysis.
• Produce material take-off reports.
• Mentor junior designers and support team guidance.
