Job summary

Tetra Tech Inc. is seeking a Mid-Senior Pipeline and Facilities Design Engineer to support pipeline, pump station, and terminal projects across Englewood, CO, Billings, MT, or Casper, WY. You will lead design efforts, develop PFDs/P&IDs, and coordinate with client leads and internal teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5–15+ years of oil & gas design experience, FE, and a solid grasp of ASME standards. This in-office role requires travel up to 25% and a willingness to seal drawings as needed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering program with 5–15+ years of relevant experience.
• FE exam completed preferred; PE licensure preferred or willingness to pursue.
• Experience in Midstream Oil & Gas and industry standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for pipeline, pump stations, and terminal projects.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and 30–100% design drawings.
• Coordinate with clients, SME’s, and offsite teams.
• Oversee equipment sizing, MAOP calculations, and line sizing.
• Contribute to design reviews and project scope documents.
• Travel up to 25% for data gathering and meetings.
