Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of hands-on experience, and a mindset for safety and quality in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of field experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Works under immediate supervision; typical progression to lead roles.
• Planning and tool selection skills for fitting and installation.

Responsibilities

• Select type and size of pipe and related materials per job specs.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions before starting work.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid conflicts with others.
• Cut, thread, and fit piping using hand tools and machines.
• Mount pipe hangers/brackets to support piping systems.
• Install and test piping for leaks and proper operation.
• Weld pipe supports to structural members as needed.
• Assist in material handling and site ergonomics.
• Observe safety rules and project requirements at all times.
