Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Mechanical Pipe Stress Engineer to join our Power Generation team as a senior technical leader, driving complex piping analysis and ensuring design integrity across large projects.

You will lead multi‑discipline coordination, mentor engineers, and uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation while engaging with clients and collaborating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 11 years of progressive experience in mechanical pipe stress engineering.
• Proven expertise in pipe stress analysis software (CAESAR II, AutoPIPE) and ASME codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on department design guides and standards.
• Lead multi‑discipline coordination and mentor staff.
• Develop complex engineering deliverables for mega power projects; manage budgets and schedules.
