Job summary

TAS is seeking a Fabrication Lead to direct the fabrication and assembly of pipe products in a shop environment. You will supervise a work team, plan resources based on work orders and production plans, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of tasks.

Qualified candidates will have two years of pipe/structural fabrication experience, strong blueprint reading skills, and a focus on continual improvement and teamwork within a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of pipe or structural fabrication experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow product specifications.
• Understanding of production and work order processes.
• Commitment to continual improvement and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate pipes to required customizations and manage all fabrication work orders.
• Supervise and coordinate a work team in planning and executing fabrication tasks.
• Plan resource requirements based on work orders and production plan.
• Ensure safety and quality of material movement and maintain safe work environment.
• Train employees on safety regulations and policies with EHS supervision.
• Develop skills of team members and ensure training completion.
• Lead process improvements and provide insights to other departments.
