Job summary

TAS Energy Inc., a Houston-based company, seeks a Fabrication Lead to direct the fabrication and assembly of pipe products in a shop setting. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and meeting production plans for multiple Work Orders.

You will supervise a team, coordinate resources, and ensure quality standards while upholding safety programs including Lock-out Tag-out. High school diploma required; two years of fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate pipes to required customizations.
• Manage all Work Orders associated with fabrication.
• Supervises work team in the planning and execution of a wide variety of fabrication.
• Plans resource requirements based on Work Orders and production plan.
• Fosters a spirit of teamwork within the department.
• Tracks, assigns, and monitors work orders.
• Ensure timeliness, safety and quality of material movement.
• Responsible for safe work practices, maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring work crews follow safe practices and HSE programs, including Lock-out Tag-out.
• Trains employees on changes in safety regulations, work policies, and standards.
• Develops skills and abilities of team members.
• Ensures all department employees complete required training.
• Any other duties as assigned by TAS
