Philadelphia Insurance Companies in Plano, TX is hiring a Senior Claims Examiner - PIP to analyze claims, determine insurer obligations, and settle with first claimants. This role requires strong knowledge of policy provisions, focus on audit scores, and willingness to travel for mediations and hearings.

The position offers a hybrid work model and remote consideration for qualified candidates outside the primary region, with a competitive compensation range.

Competenze

• High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three plus years of PIC related experience and an AIC Designation will be considered for employees in good standing with excellent claim audit scores.

Mansioni

• Analyze insurance claims to determine extent of Insurer's obligations.
• Settle claims with first claimants in accordance with policy provisions and applicable law.
• Evaluates each claim in light of facts; affirm or deny coverage; investigates to establish proper reserves; and settles or denies claims in a fair and expeditious manner.
• Communicate with all relevant parties and documents communication as well as results of investigation.
• Thoroughly understands coverage, policy terms and conditions for broad insurance areas, products or special contracts.
• Travel is required to attend customer service calls, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
