Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, seeks a Senior Claims Examiner - PIP to analyze claims and determine insurer obligations. You will settle or deny claims in accordance with policy terms and law, communicating with all parties and documenting results of investigations.

A typical day includes evaluating coverage, understanding policy terms across broad insurance products, and traveling for mediations and customer service calls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Five plus years related experience and/or training.
• Three plus years PIC related experience and an AIC Designation will be considered.
• Compensation range provided and ultimate salary based on experience and location.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance claims to determine extent of insurer's obligations.
• Settle claims with first claimants in accordance with policy provisions and applicable law.
• Evaluate claims, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain reserves.
• Travel to attend customer service calls, mediations, and other proceedings.
