Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, is expanding our PIP Team with nationwide consideration for a Senior Claims Examiner - PIP. This role analyzes claims to determine the insurer's obligations and settles with first claimants in accordance with policy provisions and applicable law.

A hybrid work model allows in-office collaboration while offering remote flexibility. A typical day includes evaluating claims, communicating with parties, understanding coverage

Qualifications

• Five+ years related experience and/or training.
• Three+ years of PIC related experience.
• An AIC Designation will be considered for employees in good standing with excellent claim audit scores.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance claims to determine extent of Insurer's obligations.
• Settle claims with first claimants in accordance with policy provisions and applicable law.
• Evaluate each claim, affirm or deny coverage, investigate to establish proper reserves, and settle or deny claims fairly and expeditiously.
• Travel to attend customer service calls, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Thoroughly understand coverage, policy terms and conditions for broad insurance areas, products or contracts.
• Communicate with all relevant parties and document communication and results of investigation.
