Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, is expanding the PIP team and seeking a Senior Claims Examiner - PIP. The role involves analyzing claims to determine obligations, settling with first claimants per policy and law, and maintaining thorough communications with involved parties.

The position supports a hybrid work model with remote consideration for qualified candidates outside the primary region. AIC designation and PIC experience strengthen candidacy.

Qualifications

• Five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three plus years of PIC related experience and an AIC Designation will be considered for employees in good standing with excellent claim audit scores.

Responsabilités

• Analyze claims to determine insurer's obligations.
• Settle claims with first claimants per policy and applicable law.
• Evaluate each claim in light of facts; affirm or deny coverage; investigate and reserve.
• Communicate with all relevant parties and document communication and results of investigation.
• Thoroughly understand coverage, policy terms and conditions for broad insurance areas, products or contracts.
• Travel to attend customer service calls, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
