Job summary

LakeFusion is seeking a hands-on PIM Engineering Lead to drive the technical implementation of our Product Information Management product. You will write production code daily while guiding architecture and technical decisions across the PIM product.

You’ll partner with Product, engineering leadership, and an offshore team to translate vision into reality, own architectural direction, mentor engineers, and ship the PIM product for enterprise catalogs at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software or data engineering with senior/principal leadership.
• Deep data modeling with relational schemas, hierarchies, and EAV-like patterns.
• Strong Python skills for backend services and ORM experience with SQLAlchemy.
• Experience leading without management and mentoring distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead PIM technical architecture, including schema design and taxonomy data structures.
• Write production code for core PIM backend services and data models.
• Guide architectural decisions, review designs, and unblock engineers.
• Own taxonomy and hierarchy modeling for large product catalogs.
• Mentor engineers across distributed teams, including offshore engineers.
