Job summary

Acuity is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer Lead for Enterprise Product team, focusing on Product Information Management (PIM), Product Catalog, and Product Configuration systems. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise-grade software solutions, integrating with ERP, PLM, CPQ, and third-party platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
6–8+ years of professional software development in enterprise apps using .NET, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
3–5+ years in PIM, Product Catalog, pricing, item data enrichment, CPQ.
3+ years integrating ERP, PLM, PIM, CPQ, and third-party systems via RESTful APIs.
5+ years building microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
5+ years with SQL and relational databases.
5+ years with document databases (MongoDB, Cosmos, DynamoDB).
2+ years with Elasticsearch search tech.
3–5+ years cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and cloud-native architecture.
3–5+ years with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
3+ years scripting with Bash/PowerShell.
3–5+ years DevOps: CI/CD, automated builds, deployment strategies.
3–5+ years with Graph/NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Databricks, data-driven analytics.
2–4+ years familiarity with Generative AI for catalog intelligence.
4+ years Agile in multinational teams.
2+ years Power BI and Grafana for monitoring and insights.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software for PIM, Catalog, and Product Configuration.
Integrate internal systems with third-party apps (Salsify, MuleSoft) and Azure cloud.
Build data-driven features using Databricks, Python, SQL, EventHub, Service Bus, and NoSQL/Graph DBs.
Collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven workflows.
Develop UX using JavaScript and CSS to manage data in PIM/MDM systems.
Ensure performance, security, and scalability in Azure/AWS cloud-native environments.
Participate in Agile, sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD.
Provide guidance to contract engineers and promote best practices.
Create seamless product data flows across PLM, PIM, MuleSoft, ERP, and MDM.
Standardize processes for high-quality Product Master Data and pricing metadata.
Drive integration architecture with MuleSoft and RESTful APIs for robust connectivity.
Incorporate monitoring/analytics (Elasticsearch, Grafana, Power BI) for data quality and transparency.
Explore Generative AI for attribute creation and metadata transformation.
Partner with security and governance teams to ensure compliance.
Handle multiple priorities and implement DevOps automation (IaC, CI/CD).
