Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of physician coding experience including CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS.
• 3–5 years of Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding experience.
• 1–2 years of multi-specialty coding and 1–2 years of surgical/invasive coding.

Responsibilities

• Apply ICD-10 diagnosis codes and CPT-4 codes across services and procedures.
• Perform E/M coding per guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Code outpatient procedures across multiple specialties.
• Review documentation to ensure compliant coding with state and federal guidance.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for difficult coding scenarios.
