Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar medical facility with rehabilitative therapy training.

Responsabilités

• Review requests for physical therapy services and physician orders.
• Interview residents to determine treatment needs and schedule therapy.
• Evaluate type of therapy and consult with physicians as needed.
• Develop and implement resident assessments (MDS) and care plans.
• Operate and demonstrate use of therapy equipment to residents and staff.
• Provide therapy in residents' rooms when required and ensure safety.
• Lead and supervise staff, and modify therapy plans based on progress.
