Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, unencumbered Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospital or nursing facility preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and provide PT services in compliance with regulations.
• Review orders, schedule therapy, and conduct evaluations with residents’ clinical needs in mind.
• Maintain documentation including treatment records and progress notes; discharge planning and care plans.
• Contribute to quality assurance programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Explain policies and goals to staff, residents and families; participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Ensure therapy spaces are safe, sanitary and properly equipped; follow infection control protocols.
