Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Physical Therapist II to join our dedicated team and provide expert evaluation, treatment planning and care for patients with physical dysfunction. You will work within a collaborative department to support both inpatient and outpatient services in a busy health system.

This advanced clinician role requires at least two years of clinical experience, a current Massachusetts physical therapy license and strong communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and current unrestricted license to practice physical therapy from Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy for diverse patient populations.
• Examines and develops treatment plans to maximize function.
• Delegates caseload to therapist assistants and supervises staff.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team for patient coverage and coordination.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient education.
