UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan and perform treatments for diverse patient populations. You will participate in care meetings, educate families, and document care while ensuring safe, effective therapy and discharge planning.

Qualifications include a PT degree, MA license (or eligible), and board exam completion. The role offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule with potential signing bonus eligibility, and a supportive team focused on patient

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.
• Current Massachusetts PT license; out-of-state licensed therapists to obtain MA license within 6 months.
• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Board Examination.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work with a healthcare team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsabilidades

• Administers therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Analyzes data, assesses functional ability, and consults with physicians when needed.
• Provides individualized treatment plans including exercises, ROM, and manual therapy.
• Educates patients and caregivers; participates in discharge planning and documentation.
• Maintains department statistics and supports inventory and purchasing.
• Delegates caseload to therapists’ assistants and ensures quality of care.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and program development.
• Supervises students according to Practice Standards.
