Job summary

Crusoe is building the infrastructure that powers the AI revolution. The Senior Physical Security Systems Engineer owns the standards, SLAs, and ongoing performance of the security stack across multiple sites.

You will set the operational handoff to production, validate deployments, and partner with GSOC, IT, and Design & Construction. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of enterprise security experience, hands-on fluency with Lenel/Genetec and video platforms, and deep IT networking skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years operating enterprise physical security systems at operator depth.
• Hands-on fluency with access control platforms (Lenel, Genetec, Genea) and video management systems (Genetec, Milestone, Ambient).
• Strong IT and networking fluency—VLAN segmentation, bandwidth planning, cert management, AD integration, firmware patch strategy.
• Experience setting operational standards and SLAs and holding systems accountable across distributed, multi-site operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the physical security standards and SLAs used by Design and Construction and production handoffs.
• Operate access control, video management, intrusion detection, visitor management, and incident platforms.
• Build integrations across the stack and with external systems; script health monitoring and SLA reporting.
• Collaborate with GSOC, IT, Network Engineering, and Protective Operations on deployments and hardening.
• Maintain firmware strategy, patching, lifecycle, and health dashboards across sites.
• Ensure audit evidence supports SOC 2, ISO 27001, NERC CIP and customer requirements; coordinate with GRC on audits.
• Travel domestically ~20–35% and respond outside hours for critical incidents.
