Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer – Physical Security to design, implement, and support physical security systems including video surveillance, access control, and sensors. You will lead technical design workshops, create test plans, and work with customers and partners to ensure solutions meet objectives.

• Hands-on Genetec or Verkada systems engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and work weekends/off-hours as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Minimum 2 years related infrastructure/network experience and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support Physical Security Systems.
• Develop and implement the technical architecture for Physical Security networks.
• Set up, configure, and test video surveillance, access control, sensors, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware/software problems.
• Lead design workshops and manage projects using CDW's lifecycle processes.
• Interface with customers, project sponsors, and stakeholders.
