Job summary

CDW is seeking Senior Consulting Engineers to design, implement, and support advanced physical security systems. You will work with video surveillance, access control, sensors, and third-party integrations, interfacing with clients and project sponsors on complex engagements.

Responsibilities include developing technical architectures, leading workshops, and ensuring on-time delivery while guiding cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, implementation, and support.
• Hands-on Genetec or Verkada Systems Engineering experience.
• Ability to travel between 25% and 50% to meet client needs.
• Experience in network environments, security practices, and LAN/WAN design.

Responsibilities

• Perform client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support Physical Security Systems.
• Develop and implement the technical architecture and physical design of the network.
• Set up, configure, and test Physical Security Systems including video surveillance and access control.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and resolve complex hardware/software issues.
• Educate customers about new technologies and cross-sell opportunities during the sales process.
• Lead design workshops and manage project life cycles to meet customer objectives.
