Job summary

Ramp is seeking a dedicated Physical Security Lead to build and run a risk-based program protecting our people, leaders, events, and offices. Based at our NYC HQ, you’ll own executive protection, event security, and office security with strong vendor partners and cross-functional teams.

You will turn security needs into measurable safeguards, drive incident response, and scale the program using AI tools while working largely from the NYC office and traveling 10–15% as required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in corporate or physical security.
• 3+ years owning a security program at a multi-site company.
• Experience administering or deploying enterprise access control and video platforms.
• Track record of managing security vendors (guard, protection, integrator, event staffing).
• Excellent writing skills (clear SOPs, security plans).
• Willingness to work from NYC office 4 days a week, travel 10–15%, support events.

Responsibilities

• Build and run Ramp's executive protection program.
• Turn threat intelligence into protective action.
• Own security for internal and external events, from all-hands to conferences.
• Set Ramp's global physical security standards for access control and surveillance.
• Build security into new offices, moves, and expansions.
• Manage the guard program and security vendors end to end.
• Lead emergency preparedness and physical incident response.
• Run physical access governance with IT and audit readiness.
• Measure and report program health using AI-enabled scaling.
