Job summary

Wunder Mobility is seeking a Senior Backend PHP Engineer - Infrastructure to join the WunderFleet team in a fast-growing mobility tech environment. You will design and implement high-level backend designs, REST APIs, and scalable infrastructure work with PHP, AWS, and modern web tech.

You will collaborate with mobile teams, drive features end-to-end, document architectures, and own project delivery in a dynamic startup setting headquartered in Hamburg with US and EU teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of programming experience with backend development.
Strong knowledge of backend software development.
Experience with PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
Good knowledge of AWS: EC2, Beanstalk, RDS, S3.
Familiarity with jQuery and REST APIs.
Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Design and develop REST APIs for fast product development.
Collaborate with iOS and Android engineers to add features.
Deliver new features with high quality and speed.
Develop the backend with modern web technologies.
Expand knowledge of software architecture and new technologies.
Improve and extend infrastructure and automate processes.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Manage project requirements, deadlines, and quality.
