Qualifications

• Two to five years of professional PHP backend development experience.

• Solid understanding of REST API design, HTTP, and relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB.
• Hands-on experience with Redis and with testing frameworks like PEST or PHPUnit.
• Familiarity with API documentation standards such as Swagger or OpenAPI.

Role overview

This is a permanent, full-time backend engineering role focused on building and maintaining PHP applications within a Laravel and Symfony ecosystem. The position is open to experienced developers within commuting range of Koblenz, with flexibility for remote work within the surrounding region. Day-to-day work involves designing and shipping REST APIs, working with relational and in-memory data stores, and contributing to testable, well-documented backend services.
