Job summary

Micron Technology, Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Senior Photolithography Process Engineer to start up, develop, and optimize lithography processes. The role focuses on improving product quality, driving yields, reducing costs, and using AI-enabled analytics to accelerate root-cause analysis.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. The ideal candidate will have photolithography process ownership experience, advanced degrees or equivalent, and willingness to travel for onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience as a Process Owner within Photolithography
• BS or MS in Engineering, equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years industry experience
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide startup and optimization of photolithography processes to improve yield and reduce cost
• Collaborate with equipment and integration engineers to resolve production issues
• Drive improvements across SPC charts and data-driven analytics
• Utilize AI-assisted technologies to enhance automation and problem solving
• Support cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements and risk management
• Lead project milestones to close yield, defectivity, production, and cost gaps
