Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomy Technician in Ramsey, MN (Mon-Fri; hours 6:30 AM–8:30 PM; rotational weekends; 8/10 hour shifts). The role supports the supervisor in daily operations, performs POC testing and blood collection from adults, infants, and children, and handles related duties.

Pay range is $27.00–$32.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellness programs, and retirement plans; annual incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of progressive, accomplished experience in POC and phlebotomy preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Prepares staff schedule to provide adequate coverage and updates changes daily.
• Ensures equitable distribution of workload.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with technicians and clinic staff with Supervisor.
• Monitors to ensure work is performed efficiently.
• Establishes onboarding program for new employees with Supervisor.
• Performs phlebotomy and POC testing as needed.
• Maintains drawing and POC testing carts/trays with supplies.
• Obtains specimens and requisitions; draws blood or performs POC tests as needed.
