Qualifications

• Four years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric phlebotomy where applicable.
• One year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and hospital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Specimen Receiving and Phlebotomy as shift coordinator.
• Monitor staffing, ensure policy compliance, and maintain service quality.
• Train staff and participate in competency assessments and policy updates.
• Coordinate scheduling, equipment, and supply needs within area of responsibility.
• Serve as liaison with patient units and clinics using laboratory services.
• Utilize LIS and Cerner for patient care functions and data reporting.
