Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomist III for a territory float in Valparaiso, IN, Monday–Friday with weekends on rotation. Travel up to 75% within the territory to collect specimens, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA and LA.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws; manage pediatric/geriatric collections with accuracy.
• Identify patients, confirm labeling, and enter data as required.
• Prepare and transport specimens; label, centrifuge, and store per test order.
• Verify orders using lab systems and directory of services.
• Deliver professional, respectful service to patients and clients.
• Maintain accurate data entry for registrations, orders and billing.
