Job summary

The Everett Clinic is seeking a Senior Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, and moderate laboratory testing in a clinical setting. You will maintain accurate records and ensure specimen integrity while following HIPAA and SOPs.

Ideal candidates have MA-Pbt certification in Washington, a phlebotomy certificate, BLS, and 1+ year of experience, with proficient MS Office skills and a strong focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy certificate program and MA-Pbt certification required by Washington state.
• BLS (AHA) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 1+ year relevant experience with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; solid computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Conduct waived and moderate complexity testing and EKGs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure specimen integrity and proper safety procedures.
• Provide professional patient interaction and problem solving.
• Support compliance with HIPAA and lab SOPs.
