Job summary

You will perform venipuncture and capillary procedures on pediatric and adult patients, order tests in LIS, cancel or redraw orders per policy, and document communications with the care team. WA MA certifications are required upon hire, with MA-P due within 3 months if training was completed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification required upon hire: WA MA Phlebotomist or WA MA Certification.
• If Providence Swedish NPS Phlebotomy Training Program completed, MA-P must be obtained within 3 months post hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary procedures on pediatric and adult patients.
• Enter orders for testing in LIS based on physician orders.
• Cancel and redraw orders per policy and document communications with the care team in LIS.
