Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our Neptune, NJ client in the medical research space. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining patient trust through careful, accurate technique.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy experience, and data entry skills. EKGs may be performed; healthcare experience and a strong customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience is required.
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Knowledge of neonate, pediatric, and adult blood collection.
• EKG capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing following procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure a safe, accurate blood collection.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process accuracy and confidentiality.
• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and maintain records and documentation.
