Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Hawthorne, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist II to join our team on a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule with rotation every other Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role offers a pay range of $24.50–$26.25 per hour and eligibility for annual performance bonus where applicable.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in some states.
• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders, enter data, and navigate lab information systems.
• Obtain identification and process billing information when required.
• Prepare specimens: label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, transport as needed.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones and emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
