Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Livingston, NJ seeks a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with rotation every other Saturday 7:30 AM–12:00 PM. Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones and email.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs timely and compile statistics when required.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
