Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Jamesburg, NJ. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotational Saturday shifts (7:00–11:00 or 8:00–12:00). Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour, with potential annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The role requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience, data entry skills, and reliable transportation. High school diploma or equivalent is required; phlebotomy certification preferred and English

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administrate oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform all non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance/temperature logs.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
