Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Cumming, GA. The role includes blood collection, specimen handling, data entry, and coordinating with clinical sites to ensure accurate processing and timely results.

Work schedule is Monday-Thursday 11am-7:00pm with rotating Saturdays. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a phlebotomy certification or training, and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
