Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Floater for our Kansas City, MO location. You will draw blood, prepare specimens for lab testing, and serve as the face of the company to patients.

The role requires 3-5 years phlebotomy experience and a high school diploma, with preferred medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification. Experience in PSC/IOP environments and strong data-entry skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and draw blood in a safe, accurate manner.
• Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time; maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Maintain required records and documentation and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public.
