Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist III - Floater at our Independence, MO location. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy in patient interactions.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and relevant training in medical assisting or paramedic work; phlebotomy certification is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• State credentials/licenses required: MN.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients who come in, both as part of routine care or for insights into health decisions.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and draw blood in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner while maintaining trust and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and data accuracy.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintain a safe and professional environment, and keep required records and documentation.
