Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior Phlebotomist in Everett, WA to perform venipuncture, specimen processing, waived and moderate testing, and EKGs. Will travel 100% to other Optum Draw Satellites from the Everett main office. Requires MA-Pbt and phlebotomy experience with strong attention to detail and patient care.

The role offers a 40-hour week with early start times and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MA-Pbt certification required in Washington.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Certificate program.
• BLS (AHA) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Perform waived and moderate testing including microscopy and EKGs.
• Document patient information and test results accurately.
• Interact with patients and healthcare providers professionally.
