Qualifications

• Washington MA-Pbt certification to perform capillary/venous procedures.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Certificate program.
• BLS (AHA) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• 1+ year experience with strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work a flexible 40-hour week including days/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and specimen collection with proper handling.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity testing, record results.
• Interact professionally with patients and healthcare providers.
• Follow Optum/TEC lab procedures, HIPAA, and safety protocols.
