Job summary

This position offers a shift from 8a-8p with potential conversion to full-time based on performance. The ideal candidate holds valid Phlebotomy certification, 6 months venipuncture experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a high school diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum of 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Handle specimen packaging and transport.
• Ensure specimen labeling accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Attend department trainings.
• Answer inquiries by reading lab results.
