Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Phlebotomist III to perform high-volume blood collection and specimen processing in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will handle patients of all ages with accuracy and care.

The role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures, OSHA, and DEP requirements. Training includes approximately one week on-site and additional off-site components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of hands-on venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience drawing blood from patients of all ages.
• Experience with labeling, processing, centrifuging, splitting, freezing, and packaging.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite and stand 2-3 hours.
• Must meet color vision standards; THC screening may be required.

Responsabilités

• Perform approximately 10-20 blood draws per day using venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Draw blood from patients across age groups, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Use straight or butterfly needles as appropriate.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection process clearly to patients.
• Verify orders and ensure correct patient identification before collection.
• Match requisitions and labels to tubes to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Collect, label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens per test requirements.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Package and transport specimens per protocol while maintaining integrity.
