Htprof is seeking a phlebotomist to support blood collection and specimen handling in a contract role in Illinois. You will perform phlebotomy, label and process specimens, and ensure accurate documentation according to protocol.

Requirements include a valid phlebotomy certification, a minimum of 2 years venipuncture experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The position offers benefits and a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement.

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.

Responsabilidades

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• Centrifuging specimens and recording maintenance data.
• Decontamination and updating patient information as required.
• Collect and store specimens according to procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
