Job summary

California Community Foundation (CCF) is seeking a Senior Philanthropic Operations Specialist to manage complex donor portfolios, grantmaking activities, and fund administration across the Office of Philanthropy. The role partners with donors, funders, advisors, nonprofit partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver timely guidance and support for philanthropic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in philanthropy, nonprofit management, business administration, communications, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in donor services, philanthropic operations, or related fields.
• Experience with Blackbaud software, including Raiser’s Edge.
• Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of donor accounts and complex grantmaking activities.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure timely donor-related deliverables.
• Prepare executive briefings and reporting for donors.
• Oversee donor data management and account reviews.
• Support donor stewardship and cultivation strategies.
• Lead donor meetings and events coordination.
