Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Sr. Phased Array Verification Architect in San Diego to lead verification across both cellular and Ka-band phased array programs. You will derive verification requirements, define tests, and ensure pass/fail criteria are met while collaborating with payload, HW, antenna, and systems teams.

You will contribute to RF test strategies, OTA measurements, and aerospace qualification planning, with a hands-on role in lab environments and on-orbit verification activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of RF and network test equipment experience for SATCOM.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or Pearl for test automation.
• Experience with RF lab equipment including VNA, power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators.
• 7+ years of verification in communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Define verification strategy from high-level requirements to test plans.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to cover full operating envelope.
• Define test methodology for standard RF and communication tests (ACLR, EVM, blockers).
• Contribute to conductive and OTA test systems for array-level verification.
• Support aerospace qualification campaigns: thermal vacuum, vibration, radiation.
