Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, maintain patient and drug records, and help manage workflow in a retail pharmacy.

Under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, you will enter information, fill prescriptions, check interactions, and support inventory, customer service, and basic clerical tasks.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends; PTCB or ExCPT certification required; training provided.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and maintaining workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and ensure accuracy.
• Resolve prescription issues and report errors promptly to pharmacist on duty.
