Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with dispensing, data entry, and patient care in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help manage prescription processing, inventory, and frontline customer service, while adhering to policy and safety standards.

The role requires a year of pharmacy technician experience, PTCB/ExCPT certification (PR caveat applies), and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications and entering patient information into pharmacy systems.
• Support pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist to maintain workflow and ensure accuracy of prescriptions.
• Lead inventory management activities: ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments.
• Enter and verify patient data, check for drug interactions, and ensure appropriate labeling and compliance.
• Handle cash transactions, assist customers at OTC aisles, and process non-dispensing calls.
• Support providers and clinics in coordination of services and outreach to health groups.
