Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; verify accuracy.
• Assist scheduling and maintaining workflow.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory management and stock handling.
• Process manual third‑party claims for prescriptions.
• Guide customers to OTC products and assist at the register.
• Support KPI data review with store leadership and clinicians.
• Assist with clinical services coordination with Walgreens clinics.
